Your tireless efforts, unwavering generosity, and countless volunteer hours are the heart of our success. You directly enhance the experience of our student-athletes, helping them excel in their chosen sports while developing valuable life skills along the way.
This year, both our grade school and high school teams achieved outstanding success in athletics. Much of that success is due to the hard work and dedication of BULLDOG NATION. Whether it’s through donating time, attending games, or participating in fundraising events, your contributions are truly invaluable.
Supporting the Booster Club is more than just supporting athletics — it’s an investment in the future of our students and the entire school community. By working together, we continue to create a positive, enriching environment that fosters growth and success both on and off the field.
The 2024–2025 school year will be remembered as one of the most historic athletic seasons in St. Anthony High School history marked by grit, determination, and a pair of record-breaking performances that help define what it means to be a BULLDOG.
Arguably one of the most coveted milestones in school history was the St. Anthony basketball scoring record. For 55 years, Mike Wente’s all-time scoring record stood as a towering achievement in Bulldog athletics. Set in 1970, the record remained untouched for decades.
“I thought someone would break it in the ’80s or ’90s,” Wente once remarked when asked about the record, paying homage to the great players of the past. But the longstanding milestone seemed destined to remain part of Bulldog lore until this past February.
On a cold night at the Enlow Center, junior Nancy Ruholl etched her name into the history books. In front of a home crowd, she officially passed Wente’s record, becoming St. Anthony’s all-time leading scorer. Her achievement sent shockwaves through the local sports community, as fans and alumni celebrated the momentous occasion.
Just weeks later, senior Brock Fearday surpassed Ruholl’s newly established mark in a postseason matchup that propelled the Bulldogs to the Sectional Championship Game. Fearday’s performance capped off a remarkable season for the boys’ basketball program and added another chapter to what has become a legendary year for St. Anthony athletics.
These two athletes represent the very best of what it means to be a BULLDOG and are featured on the cover of this year’s publication in honor of that.
With championships won, records broken, and history made, the 2024–2025 season will be remembered not just for numbers on a scoreboard, but for the Bulldog spirit that brings our community together.
